The agreement

These terms cover your use of the Living Present iPhone app and this website. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the copy of the app you get from the App Store.

The app

Living Present lets you choose apps that wait during a session. It is a tool for that purpose. It is not medical, therapeutic, or emergency support.

The app is for iPhone and requires iOS 16.4 or later.

Lifetime access

Lifetime access is a non-consumable App Store purchase. Apple processes the payment. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal.

The price is shown in the app before you pay. Restoring a purchase uses Apple’s purchase record and a device identifier stored for that purpose.

Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules. Living Present does not charge the card again after the one purchase.

Screen Time

Holding apps aside depends on Apple’s Screen Time services. You can turn that permission off, or change it, in iOS Settings. If Apple’s service is unavailable or the permission is removed, protection stops.

Living Present does not promise a particular reduction in the time you spend on your phone.

Your phone

You are responsible for the iPhone you use with Living Present, including who else can unlock it and which apps you choose to hold.

Do not use the app to interfere with someone else’s device without their permission.

The website

The website describes the app. A Download button opens the App Store. Availability of the app on the store can change.

Changes

These terms can be updated by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top is the date of the current version. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
